Cedarwood & Sage
Cedarwood & Sage. Escape to the mountains with the woody and smoky scent of cedar and sweet white sage. This purifying and all-natural soap is handmade in the mountains of Southern California using the cold process method, the traditional way of making soap.
Cedarwood has antiseptic properties and is known to improve skin conditions. Sage is healing and purifying. Activated charcoal is detoxifying and gently draws out impurities. This body and face soap is safe for all skin types and is non-drying.
Each soap comes wrapped in a label, stamped with my sparrow logo and the ingredients listed on the back. I strive to practice sustainability as a maker and small business owner to protect our natural environment and human health. A few ways I do that is by using 100% recycled and 100% post-consumer waste kraft paper for my labels. After I cut my soap into bars, I use the leftover ends for samples and guest soaps so none is wasted. I use RSPO Certified Sustainable Palm Oil in my soap. Responsibly-produced palm oil helps to reduce deforestation and poverty, and also protects and respects wildlife in palm oil-producing countries.
Olive oil, coconut oil, sustainable palm oil, cocoa butter, distilled water, coconut milk, cedarwood essential oil, sage essential oil, and activated coconut charcoal.
*I use 100% pure essential oils in my soap.
Activated charcoal has a slightly gritty texture and may be seen in the rinse water, but it will NOT stain your towels and washcloths.
Note: All soap is made with lye. Lye is a natural substance made from wood ash. After the soap has saponified or cured, the final product no longer contains lye.
